At Migrating Manners, we exclusively offer board & train programs. This means during your dog’s program, they will stay with me, their trainer. Unlike traditional kennel environments, your pup will benefit from a calm and stress-free environment during their stay with me, allowing for optimal learning.
During your dog’s board & train program, they will get the opportunity for socialization with other dogs, plenty of exercise/play time, and they will get daily training sessions. Training sessions take place not only at our home and property, but also in a variety of environments, as we take your dog on training field trips often throughout their program to ensure the behaviors they are learning can still be performed around real-life distractions! Some of these field trips may include hikes, outings to parks, dog-friendly stores, coffee shop patios, and more.
During your dog’s board and train they will be learning a variety of new skills. In order to ensure your dog's success, we provide comprehensive coaching for you following your dog’s board & train, so that you will feel confident in maintaining their newfound training afterward. A “Go-Home Packet” will be emailed to you prior to your dog returning home, which includes notes and information about the behaviors your dog has learned. At the end of your dog’s board & train, we also will hold an in-depth “Go-Home Lesson”. During this lesson, we review all the behaviors your dog has learned and how to maintain them. To ensure a smooth transition from our care to yours, we provide you with hands-on guidance and coaching throughout this lesson.

Advanced Board and Train

• Two Follow-Up Private Lessons
• Any training equipment necessary for your dog’s success
• Lifetime Text / Phone Support
This program is 5 weeks, at a cost of $2,800
Two Part Puppy Board & Train
Our puppy program is tailored to your goals with your puppy.

- Chewing items they shouldn't, etc
Our puppy programs typically consist of two parts. The first part, your puppy comes to us for a board & train when they are under 5 months old, then they return home for you to continue working on what they learned during this first half of their program.
Then, around 6-8 months, they return to us for the second half of their program. The second half their program will consist of them learning reliability in the foundational behaviors we covered during their first half of the program, and can consist of them learning all their obedience behaviors reliably on leash, or depending on your goals with your dog, we also can wintroduce the concept of off-leash freedom.
This program consists of a 5-week board and train when your puppy is under 5mo, and a 5-week board and train when your puppy turns 6mo.
This program is at a cost of $4,700.
